Took a turn at the corner of Venus and forgotten
I pumped the volume to the soundtrack of my demise
And listened with bobbing head to the destruction of my identity
I dropped my soul off at the corner of Nowhere and Tomorrow

Laughed my eyelids melting into Ray Bans
Too dark, too chic, too blind to see
I’d left my heart inside the stratosphere.
To numb to feel the burning of its re-entry
I sent my skull to the moon
In a ship fashioned from young money.
With a note to the martian
To dust my cranium for golden lyrics.
I never got an Answer
I left my mind on the rings of Saturn
Somewhere near the sound of my heritage
floating among the remains of shattered dreams
and fond memories
I sold my tongue at the pawn shop
on Lies blvd

Nailed my pride upon Progress hill
Watched as it slid backwards into the sewers
of Self Doubt
