Just that Little Coffee Shop
A little coffee shop like any other. At least from the outside. They had the proper signage, the right slogan, even the right construction and color scheme. Step inside and that is where things got weird. The lights above high fluorescent white, the countertops all made from and styled after an out of date surgical table. Wires and tubes of glass, brass, and steel lined the walls and crisscrossed beneath the heavy-duty plexiglass floor. No warm welcoming browns, hungry inducing oranges, or homey greens a flat grey and white plastered the walls. There was no register to be seen, or cups, people sat at there tables with drinks in oddly shaped glasses. Some seemed to defy logic as they set them on the tables. Polyhedral glasses nowhere to be seen else behind the bar, however. The barista stood dressed in an all-white uniform like some old milk man or other.
